Nancy Huckaba joined EFL Associates in March of 2006 as a Research Manager after nearly two decades in sales and volunteer management and
recruitment. She enjoys a challenge and views the tough searches as puzzles to be solved for the client. Huckaba is passionate about executive recruiting and invested in her clients’ future success. She brings creativity, perseverance, intuition and strategic analysis to the table in addition to an aggressive, proven process-driven search execution for C-Level to Director candidates.
Huckaba is responsible for all aspects of the executive search process. After partnering with clients to fully understand organizational culture and leadership needs, she develops a search strategy, conducts candidate sourcing with full project management, candidate evaluation, oversees due diligence, candidate negotiation and project closing.
Placing an executive who can move an organization forward is a serious but rewarding responsibility. Huckaba knows that a successful placement delivers value to clients.
Since joining EFL Associates, Huckaba has worked with a number of corporate and nonprofit leaders on various executive search assignments that ranged from president/CEO positions to director-level roles. Huckaba is a firm believer that a retained firm needs firsthand knowledge of the individuals with whom the successful candidate will work closely to effectively represent the client in the marketplace and recruit individuals who not only possess the required background, competencies and experience, but who “fit” the culture as well.
Huckaba has a portfolio of volunteer work and civic involvement including local and state PTA leadership roles, chambers of commerce participation, faith community leadership and philanthropies centered on children, women, the underprivileged and the arts.
