Higher Education Executive Search Firm Options

We are accustomed to working collaboratively with our higher education clients to design processes that suit the dynamics, the goals, and the constraints of each individual project. To broaden access to the expertise of the search team at EFL Associates we’ve developed several search options that allow for customized search experiences. These include:

  • Comprehensive Search follows the traditional pattern of assisted academic searches, beginning with campus focus groups and guiding the process through final placement. Consultants will meet personally with the search committee at several key times throughout the process. 
  • Candidate Identification follows the Comprehensive Search process up to the selection of finalist candidates. The client is then responsible for arranging and conducting final campus interviews, off-list referencing, background investigations, compensation negotiations, etc.
  • LaunchPlus is designed to launch a search effectively; build and provide initial evaluation of a diverse pool of candidates; and qualify “preferred candidates” related to such considerations as salary, start date, etc. LaunchPlus engagements generally include one consultant trip to the campus and conclude with the identification of the pool of candidates from which semi-finalists are expected to be chosen.
