Evelyn Davis joined EFL Associates in 1990 after 15-plus years of increasingly responsible human resource assignments in significantly sized organizations. Since joining EFL Associates, she has completed a number of senior executive assignments in a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, insurance, financial services, not-for-profit, agribusiness and many others. Those assignments have included virtually all functional areas (general management, information technology, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and human resources) at senior levels including president assignments.
Prior to joining EFL Associates, her scope of responsibility included: employee relations for 1,000 retail stores; managing a large assessment center operation; supervising a department of 3,000 union employees; and directing the compensation and benefits department of a multi–unit organization.
Davis began her career at American Airlines where she was responsible for the development and presentation of all management and operations training. She also evaluated potential at all levels and conducted executive-level assessments. She joined Continental Airlines and was instrumental in the merger of two flight attendant unions. She returned to the American Airlines family of companies and worked for Sky Chefs as Director of Compensation and Benefits for 40-plus locations.
Just prior to joining EFL Associates, Davis worked for Payless ShoeSource, the largest footwear retailer in the country, where she was Director, Stores Operations Human Resources and handled all human resource activities for 1,000+ stores (approximately 5,500 employees).
Davis has been active in a number of community and professional organizations. She has worked with the Girl Scouts of America, United Way campaigns and has been active in youth sports. She is a Vice President and Board member for the Overland Park Rotary Club, and is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
